This paper explores the role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in addressing corruption challenges within Nigeria's tertiary institutions. It is a review-based study that relies on secondary data sourced from print and online publications. Content analysis was employed to refine and focus the literature. The study concludes that ICT can be effectively utilized to combat corruption in tertiary institutions through tools such as data mining, big data analytics, forensic software, whistleblowing platforms, blockchain, and artificial intelligence. These technologies can be instrumental in raising awareness, reporting corruption, monitoring institutional spending, and educating staff on ethical practices. Additionally, the paper emphasizes that ICT can create a more transparent and accountable administrative environment in tertiary institutions. It recommends that the government fully integrate ICT into educational management, provide staff training, and ensure that anti-corruption agencies establish units within all educational institutions across the country.
