Improving Interest in Learning the Quran Among Teenagers in Bunta I Village Through Community Service Program

Abstract

This article discusses the interest of the younger generation in learning the Qur'an with a focus on the PKM strategy. The background reveals facts as well as the special features of the Qur'an and the increase in adolescent activities in reading. This article aims to detect how learning or interest in the Qur'an among adolescents, especially in Bunta I Village, is designed as well as possible using PKM in the hope of increasing the interest of young people in learning. Through survey methods, questions and answers, and participation of MPPL students in Bunta I Village, this study is expected to provide a positive contribution. The steps involve an initial survey, contact with the local government, scheduling, and interaction with the community. Alhamdulillah, the results of the study showed an increase in the interest of adolescents in reading the Qur'an, while PKM focuses on survey results, technical learning and the formation of Islamic character. The conclusion confirms PKM as a comprehensive effort to form individuals with strong religious knowledge and Islamic character
